So, I finally got my ass in gear and went for a run yesterday. My plan was to start running again last week, but pretty much everyday was a rainy, soggy mess. I only ran about a mile and a half, but at least I'm back doing something active... My lap pains are all a distant (well not that distant) memory, and my incisions are barely noticeable. Now I feel like I need to make some belated New Years Resolutions, or, err, lifestyle changes. End of December I was so wrapped up in my lap surgery that I didn't get around to making any... so, here are the ones I've come up with so far:
~ Cut down on drinking alcohol in preparation for being PG (because this is going to happen this year)
~ Run at least twice week (and learn to suck-it-up even if it's cold and raining)
~ Buy more organic food, especially produce
~ Eat breakfast everyday
~ Drink more tea and less coffee
~ Try two new recipes a week (right now I average about one a week)
These resolutions officially start this week, so wish me luck :-)
